One of the reasons why I love Princess Jellyfish so much is the emotional intelligence of the series. I feel that a lot of other romance or slice of life series get very heavy on the angst and I find myself getting bored or frustrated because I can’t relate. The actions of the characters just come off as stupid. With Princess Jellyfish, despite some of the over-the-top character personalities and situations (which I love btw), the emotions of the characters feel very real to me.
